Important information for casting your vote
How many votes do you have?
22 members of the Local Council (Gemeinderat) are to be elected.
That's why you have 22 votes.
Who can you cast your vote for?
You can only cast votes for those candidates that are listed on the ballot papers.
You can vote for candidates on different ballot papers.
You can give candidates one, two or three votes.
How do you cast your votes?
either
by giving in a ballot paper without any marking; then every candidate listed on that ballot paper will receive one vote; the same applies, if you mark the whole of the ballot paper.
or
you specifically mark on one or more ballot papers, the candidates to whom you wish to give votes.
Please note the following:
-
If you wish to vote for candidates on one ballot paper, which you are using for voting, simply place in the box after the printed name
-
-
a cross or the number 1, if you wish to give the candidate one vote, or
-
the numbers 2 or 3, if you wish to give the candidate two or three votes.
-
Marking in some other clear manner is also possible. Candidates, whose printed names are not specifically marked by you, receive no vote; accordingly, it is not enough to simply delete those candidates who are not
receiving a vote.
- If you wish to vote for candidates from other ballot papers, please enter their names on the empty lines of the ballot paper that you are using to cast your vote. By means of this notation, the candidate will receive one vote; if you wish to give that candidate two or three votes, insert the number 2 or 3 in the box after the entered name. When the seats are allocated, the votes that you give these candidates will be added to the election list from which the candidate was taken.
Please note:
Your ballot paper is void, if you should cast more than 22 votes; if you completely delete it, tear it or cut it up.
Even if you should use several ballot papers for casting your vote, you must not cast more than 22 votes.
